The Greatest Agent in the World!
What makes the Greatest Real Estate Agent in the world? I guess that depends on how you would describe such a person. I’ve met plenty of top producing agents that…well…I’ll stop there because my mother always said if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything. You’ve met them, done business with them, and frankly have even fantasized about what it would be like to have their success. But I can tell you, you can be a Rockstar agent without having the Rockstar ego.
Don’t get me wrong, confidence is key, but confidence in what is the question. I am confident that I have my clients’ well being as my top priority. I am confident in my knowledge of the market and real estate. I am very confident that I know a good home for my client when I see one so when I tell them they should write an offer, they typically do. My clients know me and trust me because of my confidence. I tell my agents it’s my absolution attitude. I speak in absolutions so it leaves no room for doubt. My ex-wife hated it (probably one of the reason’s she’s my ex), but in her defense it’s harder to live with than work with LOL.
I am mostly confident because I do a lot of ME work outside of my business. I take care of my body, my mind, my emotions, and my spirit. I take time most mornings for meditation. I work out at least 3-4 times a week, I listen to audible books, and I surround myself with people who love and appreciate me. My girlfriend and partner Ashley is the epitome of love and gratitude and makes me feel like I am a god. In fact she calls me Zeus often. I LOVE it! Anyway…she’s amazing!! All of this is to say I work at being the greatest ME I can be, so when I go to work and meet with clients, I don’t have to fake anything. I like me (the real me, not an artificial ego) so it’s easier for my clients to like me and trust me.
So don’t work on being the Greatest Agent in your market. Work on being the best YOU you can be and the rest will take care of itself.
